Yungblud, attraction of Lollapalooza Brasil 2023, says he is part of another generation of artists
According to Dominic Harrison (real name of Yungblud), most of his fans are part of generation Z, different from the public of the other bands mentioned. “When I look at The 1975and Arctic Monkeys, they are a different generation for me,” he said.

“When they talk, they’re deep. I don’t want to be deep yet, I want to be on the fucking floor,” continued the musician.
Although not related to the lyrics, the singer declared to respect the other artists: “I love Matty Healy, I love Alex Turner, but I don’t connect with them like I used to. Names like Mac Miller, Billie Eilish, Lil Peep and Lil Nas X are more in line with the scene that Yungblud thinks fits: “That’s where my head is.”
Yungblud in Brazil
Interestingly, Yungblud comes to Brazil in 2023 alongside Matty Healy’s own band, mentioned by him in the interview. The musician performs at Lollapalooza, in March, at the Interlagos Circuit. Line-up also features Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X, from the “new generation,” as well as established names such as Blin- and Tame Impala. Check out the full lineup:
