Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will perform a medley of songs at the halftime show of the match that will mark the opening of the NFL season between the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills, next Thursday, 08.

The game will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the day before the release of their new studio album, Patient Number 9.

A News of Ozzy’s performance comes a month after he teamed up with his Black Sabbath bandmate, guitarist Tony Iommi, to play the classic “Paranoid” at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. The performance marked Ozzy’s return to the stage in about four years.

The singer’s last live performance had taken place in 2019 of December 2018, when he presented the No More Tours 2 ) at The Forum in Inglewood, the same city where he will perform next week.

Currently, Ozzy Osbourne is leaving his home in Los Angeles to move to Buckinghamshire, England.

Osbourne underwent surgery on June 14 which, according to Sharon ), his wife and manager, would “determine the rest of his life”. Days after the surgery, Ozzy took to social media to let fans know he was fine and recovering.

“It’s great, it’s great,” Osbourne said of his health. “I like to see people, you know. This has been a very difficult thing for me for the last three years and with this surgery. But I will get there. It’s a very slow climb, you know?”

Loudwire, the surgery in question was a removal and realignment of the pins that Osbourne has in his neck and back after have suffered a fall in 2019. In an interview for Classic Rock , the musician had already said that he would undergo neck surgery because he was not able to “walk properly.”
