The new dates for the postponed shows ofImagine Dragons in São Paulo have been rescheduled for the day 27 from February 29, at Allianz Parque. In Curitiba, on March 2nd at Pedreira Paulo Leminski, in Rio de Janeiro, on March 4th, 29 in the External Area of Jeunesse Arena.
The band postponed the shows that would take place in October this year in Brazil due to a disease in the vocal cords of Dan Reynolds. A statement about the postponement was initially posted on the band’s social media.
In our twelve years as a band, we have never had to cancel a tour. We hope you know how difficult it is for us to postpone these dates and we plan to make it up to you soon. Some of you may know that Dan has been struggling with a vocal cord hemorrhage and a lump since the last leg of the tour, and he was warned by his doctor that going now could cause a rupture and irreparably damage his voice.”
The Mercury World Tour would pass through Curitiba on October 25 in October, 27 in October in São Paulo and 29 in October in Rio de Janeiro. In the repertoire the band brings the double album Mercury – Acts 1 & 2, which features 32 tracks and includes singles such as “Enemy”, “Bones” and “Sharks”.
